In Loving Memory of Carrolin Joyce Behrends (Rogers–Pearce)
March 1, 1943 – November 30, 2025

Carrolin Joyce Behrends, surrounded by her children, went to be with Jesus on November 30, 2025, after a courageous 2½-year battle with cancer. She was 82.

Born on March 1, 1943, Carrolin walked faithfully with the Lord and lived out her faith in every part of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love. Carrolin lived with steadfast faith, grace, and compassion, fighting the good fight until her final breath.

Her greatest joy was her family. She created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and memories that will forever live in our hearts — Florida sunshine, beaches, boat rides, seashell hunts, coffee on the lanai, and meals made with love.

She loved well, and that love will remain with us always, in every sunrise, every ocean breeze, and every memory, polished like a seashell in our hands.

Carrolin is survived by her four daughters and son: Tamara (Al) Duckworth, Rhonda (David) Rugg, Becky (Jeff) Schook, Kim Anderson, Ron (Annette) Rogers, and Greg (Kathy) Behrends; and sisters Dotty (Ron) Dilsaver and Kathy Ward.  She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ronald James Rogers and Robert Behrends; her grandson, Nicholas Anderson, parents Charles Pearce and Dorothy (Moody) Pearce; and brothers Charles Pearce and William Pearce. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

I loved Carol. She was one of the first who welcomed me to Foundation Church. She gifted me with a beautiful Bible and we became instant friends. I prayed for her every morning with texts as she went through her struggle for many months. In October she began to pray for my brother when I shared news of his battle with cancer. I’ll miss Carol. The good news is, she’s home with her Savior. Job well done Carol! ❤️

Carol was such a sweet person, always friendly and nice. The whole family became my family and I love them all so much. She will be missed very much always. Fly with the angels Carol
