Memorial service for Carroll Joseph Ochs, 83, Port Orange FL who died Saturday, March 13, 2010 will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 20 at St Mary’s Episcopal Church Daytona Beach with The Reverend James Taylor officiating.
Carroll was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and came to this area in 1990. He served our nation in the United States Army. He retired as a Nuclear Quality Control Specialist with General Dynamics Corporation Electric Boat Division. He held memberships in St Mary’s Episcopal Church Daytona Beach, Veteran’s and Business Men’s Club, Daytona and Ormond Chapter SAR, Volusia County Genealogy Society. His avid interests included reading, genealogy and history.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Barbara, son David (Fay) of Madison, WI, brothers and sisters Clarence Ochs of Oakfield, WI, Peter Ochs of Eldorado, WI, Evlyn Janis of Daytona Beach, Kay Ochs Franke of Port Orange FL, stepchildren David Vanthoff, Deborah Salimi, Daniel Vanthoff, three grandchildren Rebecca, Ira, Ellyn and step grandchildren Sean, Cory, Kevin and Kelly.
