Obituary
Catherine V. “Kay” Cangelosi, 90, of Sanibel, FL passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.
She loved to sew and loved to do crafts–macrame, anything fashionable. She also taught candle making to her daughter’s Girl Scout troops. She was the Cub Scout fundraising lady and always the Girl Scout Cookie Leader and worked with the White Elephant events at Oriole Park District in Chicago, IL. She had lived in Holland, MI, Chicago, IL, Orland Park, IL and Sanibel Island and Fort Myers, FL.
Survivors include her daughter Cathy (Jon) Cameron; son Russell F. (Christy) Cangelosi of DesPlaines, IL; daughter Diane (Rich) Trentacoste of Orland Park, IL; son David (Vickie) Cangelosi of Mt. Prospect, IL; grandchildren Brian (Andrea) Allen of Michigan, Candice (Pat) Kisner of Minnesota, Lexi Cameron of Florida, Joey and Mark Cangelosi of Illinois, Richie, Melissa (Ryan) Pierce and Daniel Trentacoste of Illinois; Katie, Matthew, Michael and Annalisa Cangelosi of Illinois; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Carter Allen of Michigan, Christopher, Emily, Carson and Molly Kisner of Minnesota; great-great grandchildren Anthony and Mason; brother-in-law Carlo Cangelosi.
