To know Cathy was to love her. Her gift for engaging others in conversation was unparalleled. She enjoyed talking to people anywhere and everywhere she went. She truly didn’t know a stranger. Another love of Cathy’s was travel. Her and Mark took many cruises throughout their years together, and traveled to many states in their motorhome. She loved visiting the beach, basking in the warm sunshine, and swimming in the ocean.
Cathy enjoyed sharing her time and talents with many groups over the years. She was active in Girl Scouts, schools & churches, along with several different food and clothing pantries.
A Celebration of Cathy’s Life will be held at Belleville Christian Center, 104 S. 17th St., Belleville IL on Sunday, September 3rd from 2-4pm.
Also, a Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at St. Philomena Church, Peoria IL on Monday, September 4th at 10am.
