Obituary

Charlene Craft Braddy (Mee-Maw), 81, most recently from Sorrento, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020.  Charlene was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 5, 1939 to Billie Louise Bradford.  She lived in Mississippi prior to coming to Central Florida. She was an industrial installer at Mathews Associates in Sanford, FL for over 30 years.  She was a loving person who cared more about people and animals than material things.  She lived by the Golden Rule, always treating others the way she wanted to be treated.  She enjoyed crafting, flowers, animals, and spending time with friends and family.  She was especially fond of her grandchildren and dogs.

Charlene is preceded in death by her mother Billie Louise Wooley and her brother Roger Lee Craft.

Charlene is survived by John P. Braddy, (husband) Sorrento, FL, Thomas A. Mikell, Jr. (son) Lady Lake, FL Timothy L. and Lisa Mikell (Son and DIL) Sorrento, FL, Debbie and Johnny Evans (Stepdaughter and SIL), Geneva, FL, Paulette and Carleton Prevatt (Step Daughter and SIL) Kristie and Brian Jaundoo (Step daughter and SIL)  Mount Dora, FL, John M. Braddy (step-son), Lorrie and Alan Buchanan (Step daughter and SIL), Mt Plymouth, FL Lloyd George Craft Jr. (Brother) Concord, California, Sharon Craft Batchelor, (sister) Vicksburg, Mississippi, Tamara Craft Warnock (Sister) Vicksburg, Mississippi, Gloria Craft, Vicksburg, Mississippi, (Sister), Sierra and Victor Koester (grand daughter and grandson in law)Eustis, FL, Rutger Mikell (grandson), Tyler Mikell (grandson) Sorrento, FL.  Pierson Mikell (Great Grandson), Eustis, FL and Reese Koester (Great Granddaughter) Eustis, FL.  She also leaves behind 11 step-grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.

    So sorry to hear if Ms Charlene’s passing. I will miss my frequent visits with her. She was a lovely lady & dear friend to me.
