Obituary
Charlene Marie (McKirahan)Graham “Charlie” age 77, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Advent Hospital in Ocala, Florida with her daughter, Deanne, by her side. Charlene was born on July 30, 1945, to Ada Aleine and Ralph McKirahan in Kenton, Ohio. She grew up in Naples, Florida and graduated from Naples High School in 1963.
Charlene was the youngest of 6 siblings, 3 have preceded her in death.
Charlene married the late Larry Wayne Graham on August 21, 1963, and 1 child was born from this union; daughter, Deanne Marie Graham.
Charlene worked in banking then transitioned to working at one of her favorite places, “Ben Franklin Crafts” as a bookkeeper, where she eventually retired.
Charlene loved to play slow pitch softball on her spare time when she wasn’t watching her daughter play. Charlene had a love for many things such as cats, coloring, puzzles, plants, her sisters and family. She especially loved to watch her granddaughter’s play the game she loved so much, softball.
Charlene lit up any room she entered with her smile and contagious laugh.
This past year was spent making memories. She was surprised with tickets to a game of her favorite baseball team, The Tampa Bay Devil Rays. She was able to spend quality time with her daughter, grandkids, and great grandkids and will be missed by so many.
Siblings that preceded her in death are brothers, Lee McKirahan, Larry McKirahan; and sister, Betty Keeling.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Ann Gymrek and Mary Lou Patrick (Bill); her daughter, Deanne Marie Baker (Troy); granddaughters, Chantel Griffis and Danielle Johnson (Michael); great grandchildren, Kenneth Coloma III, Michael Griffis Jr., Hailee Griffis, James Lidgard Jr., Dallas Lidgard, and Jase Lidgard. Along with many nieces, nephews, and friends with whom she loved dearly.
We will be celebrating Charlene’s life on Saturday January 14, 2023, at 4:00 pm in Ocala, Florida at The Falls of Ocala Clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, your grandchildren, your friend, or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day. Time waits for no one.
