Obituary

Charles Albert Guth, 76 of Winter Park died peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2012 with his family by his side.  Charles was born February 24, 1935 in Brookville, PA.  He graduated from Penn State University in 1957 with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.    He married the love of his life Laura Yeingst on January 28, 1956.  They moved to Winter Park in 1960 from Canonsburg, PA.  Charles was an Independent Insurance Broker.  He was a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Life Underwriters Training Counsel, University of Central Florida Golf Association, German American Society, Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church and the Winter Park Elks Club.  Chuck was involved with many community activities and enjoyed his time spent with his family.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Laura; three devoted sons, Jeffrey and daughter in law, Nicole of Melbourne, John and daughter in law, Debra of Bushnell and Steven and daughter in law, Susan of Palm Coast; seven cherished grandchildren; brother, John and his wife, Joanie of Atlanta, GA and sister, Barbara Haight of Altamonte Springs, FL.  A Life Celebration will be held 11AM, Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Chris Chandler officiating.  The family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 A Life Celebration will be held 11AM, Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Chris Chandler officiating.

    Dear Family, I am so very sorry about the loss of your dear loved one. May the thought at Job 33:25 give you comfort in knowing that Mr. Guth will return to the days of his youth and be able to enjoy life without the infirmities of old age. My sincere condolences to you.

    We want you to know that our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family for the loss of such a sweet man as Chuck. Gene and I both enjoyed the few times we spent with the both of you on the cruises we went on together and to rare occasions at dinner with you while in Florida. Wish we would had had more time to see you both because of such a wonderful and loving couple you were together. We will miss Chuck dearly, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
