CHARLES ARTHUR JAFFARIAN
Charles Arthur Jaffarian, 85, of Summerfield, Florida passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2016.
Born December 27, 1930 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, he was the son of Charles and Edith (Marble) Jaffarian.
“Charlie” is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carmen (Ciampi) of 63 years, and his children Michele Elliott, Carol White and Brian Jaffarian and their spouses, his nieces Linda (Groom) Pearson and Jane Bartlett, his nephews, Thomas Groom, William Bartlett, Stephen Bartlett and their spouses, his great nieces and nephews and lifelong friends, many who still reside in the Merrimac Valley area. He was predeceased by his sister Jacqueline Groom and nephew Lt. Commander Craig Groom.
“Charlie” served his country as a Navy Veteran on the USS Saipan during the Korean Conflict. After a long career as a National Service Manager in the hospital equipment industry, he and Carmen retired to Florida in 2000. His passion for fine cars, good music, great food and his family remained strong throughout his life.
He will be interred at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, N.H.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Charlie. So many great memories of him and your family. Sorry we lost contact over the years, but will remember Charlie in our thoughts and prayers . Our daughters Gina and Paula, still remember visiting your house in Plaistow and playing with Michelle, over 50 years ago.
