Charlie worked for Eastern Airlines from 1956 to 1993 as a Maintience Mechanic in both Newark, NJ and Miami, FL. When the company closed for good he remained in Florida for a short time, but his heart was in New Jersey so he returned home. He bought a house in Toms River in 2000 so that he could be near his siblings, some of his kids, and his grandkids. Charlie loved adventure and travel. He took his family on many vacations both in and out of the country. Charlie was adored by so many people, especially his grandchildren. He loved to tell them that he was “Older than dirt.” Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Marion, his forever wife Rae Lees, his sister Marion, and brothers Richard, Ray, and Frank. He is survived by his children, Debbie, Diana, and Craig of Edgewater, Florida, Charlie (Maggie) of Billings, Montana, Richie (Jamie) of Point Plesant, New Jersey, and Danielle (Mark) of Howell, New Jersey.
