Obituary
Beloved Husband, Father, Poppy, Uncle, and Friend entered paradise on January 18, 2021, at the age of 85. He was married to the love of his life, Christine, for 61 years. Full of charm and class, he spent his life in the hotel industry working in London, NYC, New England, Florida, and Bermuda. He touched the lives of hundreds of employees, but especially the thousands of guests that were invited to Friday cocktail parties hosted by he and Christine that became the highlight of their Bermuda vacation. He always had time to listen, and if asked would dispense advice filled with wisdom, love, and strength. His wife, children, and grandchildren were always foremost in his mind. Such a sweet man who enjoyed desserts the most, the cherry on top being a great-grandchild in 2019. Let’s not forget the amazing brother-in-law he was to four sisters; a job in itself. We will endeavor to emulate the example of such a loving husband, devoted father/grandfather, and God-loving man we were blessed to have in our lives. Cherishing his memory are his wife, Christine; children, Christopher and wife Bonnie, Stephen and wife Charissa, Suzanne, and Charles, Jr. and wife Michele; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters-in-law Suzanne, Joanne, Julie, and Lucie; brother-in-law, Doug; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

To Chris and the Popper family, I am sorry for your loss and know that my prayers are with you in this difficult time.
With great respect, Bill Bowden, General Manager, Pelican Bay, Naples FL
My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of this most wonderful man. Mr . Popper was the beat boss and my first General Manager. At the age of 25, he gave me the chance of a lifetime. It was my honour to be his Executive Assistant.
Mrs. Popper, you were my surrogate mother and the two of you mean the world to me.
Love you,
Lee Power ♥️
