Obituary

Charles Henthorn 80, of The Villages, passed away Friday July 17 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Charles was born Oct 13, 1939 to Arlie and Jeanette Henthorn in Spencer, WV. Charlie was a 60 year member and past business agent for Painters & Plasterers Local 841, he took great pride in helping his members. Charlie loved to golf and did so until he was physically unable to compete any longer. He would spend hours watching anything John Wayne. Charlie met the love of his life Sandra and they were married on Sept 2, 1995, they enjoyed their time together traveling and making memories. Charlie will be remembered for his kindness and patience. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Son Charlie Jr, Brother Chet, Sister Wilma and grandson Steven.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, children Craig (Lisa), Nancy (Pat) Sumey, Kris (Jeff) Tyner, daughter in law Teresa Henthorn.

Also survived by brother Arlie (Cheri) sister Diane (Gary) Allen, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and Sandra’s 2 sons Joe (Chris deceased) and Jeff (Maria) Kaisk.

Per Charlie’s  request, no services will be held and the family will celebrate his life privately.

    The Lord called you home Mr. Henthorn you always treated me like family and was good to me and always kept that in my heart I will never forget you and always remember you R.I.P. M r. Henthorn until we meet again also tell Charlie Chet and my mom and so many others i said hi.
