Obituary
It is with great sadness that our beloved Chuck (Charles M. Wehner) passed away on his 66th birthday, Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Chuck will be missed by his devoted wife Denise, daughter Amy, and his loyal African Grey Poncho. Chuck is survived by his siblings Ron, Larry, Robert, Bill, Tim, Jean, and Sheryl who will miss him as well. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Margery and his brother Ray. Chuck lived his life honorably. He was a decent, hard working man. He loved working on his “estate” and doing his DIY projects. He loved his daughter “Amy Baby” more than life itself. His passion was hiking, especially the Grand Tetons. His other passion was kayaking. Words he once heard and chose to live by- “why take a trip when you can go on an adventure.”
Denise my heart is breaking for you and Amy.
Chuck is in heaven with God. Denise and Amy he will always be watching over both of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
We are so sorry for your loss. My dad loved Chuck. He was such a caring and giving guy. He worked so hard to help my dad. Both of you treated my dad so nice. Words can't say enough when you lose a loved one. We wanted to let you know we are praying for you Denise and are deeply sorry.
I’m so very sorry...
All of my love.. I’m here for you... your sis :)
He’s so proud you...
He raised an amazing woman..
My sincere sympathy to Denise and Amy.
My memories mostly range from middle school to college where Chuck was always there with Amy, helping her through difficult surgeries, teaching her how to drive the blue car (can't remember the type of car just now), to visits up at college. He was always there for her to lend a helping hand, a comforting ear or a nice dinner out at Rams Horn. He was also so sweet to us girls, Amy's friends. I love the fact that so many of his good qualities, kindness, strength, capability and sense of adventure to name only a few, have been instilled in his daughter, Amy. I am sure Chuck is happy and proud of that too. I am sad, but do look back on happy memories. Love you Amy and Wehner family. ❤
I couldn’t be more proud of my Dad. He put up one hell of a fight and did so with such courage, grace and dignity. He will eternally be my most favorite person and forever my HERO. I will love him always with all of my HEART...
