Obituary

“Charlie” was born in Crucible, Pennsylvania, on January 5, 1929, to Susan & Peter Palyok. His family moved to Trenton, New Jersey, where he graduated from Trenton High School. Immediately after high school Charlie enlisted in the U.S. Navy & served his country five years. Afterward, he graduated from school of extensive cabinet making in Cleveland, Ohio, designing & creating custom church furniture. In 1958 he moved to Michigan where he was employed by DTEnergy where he was employed until his retirement in 1987. Stained glass was his hobby and he made many prize-winning stained glass pieces. Preceded in death by brothers Paul Pollock & George Palyok, sisters Pauline Peticca, Katherine Rizzo, & Mary Jane Palyok. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Laura, and by their children, son Scott Pierce of Lyme, CT, daughter-in-law Rosemarie Pierce, son Mark Palyok of Duluth, MN, daughter Anne Landolfa of Daytona Beach, FL & son-in-law Paul Landolfa, grandaughter Corrie Northfell & husband PO1 Matt of East Lyme, CT, grandson 1LT Mark Palyok & wife Alaina of Del Rio, TX, sister Ruth Agabiti of Langhorne, PA, & many loving nieces & nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 2071 Garden Street Titusville FL 32796.
