Cheryl was a friend of mine in Nursing School at Deaconess!
And I ran into her in a work experience 25 years after we graduated and had lost contact so that was very sweet to reunite. I’m so sad to hear that she has passed. I know it’s almost the year anniversary and your hearts are still broken. Know that she was a good friend and an excellent nurse. And so very much fun to be around.
I hope you find peace in your hearts over the loss!
    Pam

I count my blessings that I had Cheryl as my friend, confidant, partner in crime, support system, and best buddy. I think about her so often and always with a smile on my face. She was such a big part of my life and we shared such special times. She was selfless, witty, downright funny, kind, caring, generous, clever, smart, compassionate, thoughtful, loving, and so, so much more than I could ever list. I think of her now, free and unencumbered, at perfect peace in a beautiful heavenly home giving and receiving bountiful and abundant love. I'm not sure who wrote the following, but it reminds me of Cheryl. "As some people journey through life, they leave footprints wherever they go. Footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor and inspiration, joy and faith. Even when they are gone, we can still look back and clearly see the trail they left behind." Cheryl certainly had an impact on my life and I will lovingly carry a piece of her in my heart forever. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
