Obituary

Christa Teller Kelsey, age 59, of New Smyrna Beach Florida, formerly of Marathon in the Florida Keys, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6th.   A memorial service in her honor will be held at Riverside Park at the Gazebo at 7pm August 12, 2010.   Christa was born and raised in Meriden, CT. to Ruth & Fred Teller. She along with her husband Jim Kelsey and daughter Katie own and operate The Riverview Hotel and Spa in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Christa thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all her wonderful friends and family. She also loved traveling, entertaining and reading, but most of all she had a passion for her family. She was a loving and generous woman who helped so many people in so many ways. Her beautiful smile and kindness will always be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.   Christa leaves behind her memory in her loving husband Jim Kelsey, her father Fred Teller, her daughter Katie Kelsey Liller, her son Thomas Bivona, her son in law Jamie Liller, daughter in law Heidi Bivona and her beautiful grandchildren, Emily Bivona, Bobby Bivona and Gavin Liller.         In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Habitat for Humanity in Christa’s name.
