Obituary

Christine Ann Quinn, 72, of Cambridge, Massachusetts passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband and her daughter by her side. She was born October 12, 1948, to James and Eleanor Quinn. Since her retirement in 2004, she has resided in Fort Myers, FL during the winter months and Dennisport, MA in the summer months. She is survived by her husband of 36 years John Clark; her son Richard Quinn of Newton, MA; daughter Ashley Sheplak and her son-in-law Stephen Sheplak III of Fort Myers, FL; three brothers, Kenneth Quinn of Falmouth, MA, James Quinn of Cambridge, MA, and John Quinn of Cambridge Ma; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers Bobby Quinn and Ricky Quinn, and sisters Noreen Van Stry and Suzanne Quinn. Christine was born and raised in Cambridge MA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Lesley College with a Bachelor’s Degree and Wheelock College with a Master’s Degree. Christine was a first and second-grade teacher for 35 years in Cambridge before retiring to both Fort Myers, FL, and Dennisport, MA. She was an avid reader, a phenomenal cook, and enjoyed taking early morning walks along the West Dennis Beach on Cape Cod. She took pride in taking care of those around her and was a trusted friend to many.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of her life will take place at the appropriate time. However, there is not one scheduled at this time.
