“Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I’ve only gone to rest for a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be. I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest a while. As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.”
Thank you to the Cape Coral Hospital ICU staff who took care of our Mother as if she was one of theirs, to those who relentlessly fought for her and allowed us to have the time we did with her. We also want to Thank Cherie with Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation who made this part of our journey at ease.
I first met Christine when she came to work with us at SVP Worldwide in Tennessee, she quickly became part of our Consumer Affairs family and was loved by all. Even after she left TN for Florida to be close to her mom, I have very fond memories of lunches we shared whenever they came to TN. She was a dear friend and I will miss her!
