Obituary

Two hearts became one when Donnie and Laurie Brown 's son Chris was born July 30, 1985.  On that day their life as a family began.  He became their reason for living and theirs was an extrememly close relationship.  Chris was born in Orange County, Florida and was a Floridian all his life.  He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  He lived with his 4-legged best friend, Chloe, whom he loved dearly.  Chris loved fishing, diving, skateboarding, surfing and all outdoor activivtes, and he loved the beach.  He loved to help others less fortunate and was always willing to give of himself.  He will be dearly missed by everyone who was a part of his life.  Your presence is requested for a Celebration of Christiopher Brown's life at The Wall (New Smyrna Beach), Fridlay, April 30, 2010 at 2:00PM.

    Chris, I may have only seen you a couple times but they were always fun. You knew how to have a good time and i enjoyed hanging out with you the few times i did. I know you were a good man. Ill keep your family in our prayers.

    Chris, I really dont know where to start. Well i know im going to miss you for sure!! We may not been as close as you were with kenny but I still concidered you my other big brother and still do! I can remember when i went to see you when i was pregnant and i went in your cabinet for something to eat and all i saw were pickeled sausages and i went to eat one and you flipped out telling me they were way outdated.... Who keeps old pickeled sausages in their cabinet?? Im going to miss you alot Chris!! LOVE ALWAYS KINDRA WILLIS!

    Well I remember going over to Donnie and Laurie's as a little kid. I remember going fishing and hanging out with Chris. He was crazy let me shoot a BB gun and then had his surf board out in the pond at the house and would swing on to it... He was like the coolest ever I was over there so much he was like a brother. I miss ya kid.

    Chris Brown was an amazing person! He had the biggest heart, and would do anything for anyone, even if it would bring him hurt. I've known him for only a few years, but it seemed like i knew him my whole life. We've shared a numerous amount of memories that i will never forget. He taught me many things, and i cared for him so much, more then, even he had known. I truly loved Chris, i just wish i had said it more. He is always in my thoughts, and he will be missed. I know he is in a great place.
    My heart is out for you, Laurie and Donnie. I know its hard, but you are strong and you will make it through!
    I love yall, and im here for you whenever you need me.

    Unusual life circumstances did not allow me to know my oldest nephew, Chris Brown until 1999, but that did not stop him from stealing a place in my heart within minutes. He was quiet for a while with his shy smile, but always polite to me. He was like a protective brother to my daughter, and they would fight like brother and sister from time to time but always got over it and became best friends again. I remember living with him, Donnie and Laurie for a while when I moved to Florida and every morning Chris would get in the shower and fall asleep with the water running. It would drive me crazy waiting to get into the bathroom to get ready for work. We would have to bang on the door to wake him up so we could finally get in the bathroom. He was a fun kid to be around who grew into a great, giving, thoughtful young man which again ....life's unusual circumstances will not allow me to know my oldest nephew. I will miss him as will the rest of our family. Never will we forget that handsome smile! Donnie and Laurie-I love you both.

    First n foremost I would like to send my condolences out to Laurie & Donnie for your tragic loss. Although I can’t even begin to imagine what you must be going through; I hope you both know if you need to talk or you need anything we r just a phone call away.
    Let’s see I think I met Cupcakes I mean Chris when he was about 10yrs old. Instantly we begin our relationship of torturing each other with practical jokes – especially on the camping trips we went together on for the next couple of years. We did everything from water balloons with shaving cream in them to one time we caught a big nasty banana spider and kept him in a jar all weekend making the spider very mad then on the last morning of the camping trip Donnie and I let the spider go in the woods, but we threw the empty jar with the lid off of it in Chris and Kenny’s tent like we let him go in there. You should have seen the look on those boys faces when they woke up – priceless. These are just a few of the many memories I have with Chris that I will always cherish and keep them close to my heart. Chris will be forever missed, but through all the wonderful memories and through everyone’s hearts he touched, he will live on forever.

    Chris my cousin I love u and u will miss u dearly! Ur memories will always be close at heart until we meet again. I’m thankfully for all the time we shared together even thou it was short and the wonderful memories u gave me that will last a lifetime. I remember when u were little and u would sit on my lap to talk, all the camping trips we took and jokes that took part… There is one prank in particular that sticks in my mind we put shaving cream in yours and Kenny’s skates boy were u guys upset. I still have the picture to prove it. Those were some great times. U grew up quickly into a young man I just wish I spent more time with u. As I flip thru the memories like a photo album in my mind u almost always have this half of a smile that I see every time. There r many more memories and the list can go on but I will save those for another day when the time comes.

    To my dear aunt and uncle: I love u both dearly and this just breaks my heart. I’m still searching for the right words to come to mind to express my deepest regret. I hope you both can find the strength inside yourselves to work thru this together that is what Chris would want he was a part of both of you. You know that I’m here for you and always will be thru thick in thin
    I will leave this with one request from up above: “Chris now that you’re an angel in the sky please be a guarding angel help watch over all your little cousin and help guide them down the right roads that would mean the world to me. I love you, miss you!!!!!”

    Roses are red, violets are blue, thanks for all the concusions and bruises too!!! You are my best friend in the whole wide world. I will miss all the times we had together good and bad. I loved the way we were like an old married couple. We would both get jeolous when we would hang out with other friends. There wasn't a day that I didn't see you or at least talk to you.     My sweet Kissypher! you are and always will be the most amazing man I'v ever known. the times we had together wherer some of the best times of my life! Theres was never a dull moment around Chris Brown! ask anyone who knows him.

    There are no words we could say to express how sorry we are about the loss of Chris. He was a great young man with always a smile on his face. He was always friendly and respectful to all. He was a pleasure to know and we are glad we had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

    Chris, I loved watching you grow up. Always off to the next adventure with that silly little grin. Always had a hug for me. Could always make me smile.     Chris was a way cool, down to earth guy with great big heart. he will be very much missed by everyone he knew. We actually met Chris through his parents Donnie and Laurie. Donnie worked with Richie and we soon became good friends with Laurie and donnie.We had so much in common with the family and truly wish that he may rest in peace and that his memories shall never be forgotten..     You can tell on the first meeting that Chris was raised with love and support by his wonderfully positive personality. He will be missed everyday by so many people. All the wonderful things that Chris was able to accomplish and the way he made people feel was a credit to his time here. We all know that he is making everyone happy where he is now.

    Wanted to let you know that you are in are thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Chris will truly be missed, he had a way of brightening up your day everytime you saw him. We will always remember Chris skateboarding with Chloe down the street with his big bright smile. There was never a day he did not say hi!!     Laurie & Donnie: I never got a chance to get to know Chris, but as the mom of a son, an only child just 6 months younger than Chris, I can't begin to imagine the heartache of such a loss.

    I never realized our sons were the same age. I'm sorry we never got them together years ago when they were little and we were all still in Orlando. I'm sure they would have become good friends.

    Christoher, you will truly be missed by all of us my children remember one perticular thing about you and that is when you lived with miss ellie when you would catch lizards and scare us with them and then pull there legs off that was probably the funiest things i can remember. Miss ellie will be so excited to see you and you can take care of her and my little nikki.     Where to begin... Chris was more like a protective older brother to me than a cousin. Some days we would fight and go days without talking to each other. So many ups and downs that we had throughout the years. I have so many memories, mostly funny things that happened or mischevious things he did. Either way, for a time, we were inseperable... Chris, It breaks my heart that you were taken away from me so soon, but you left me with great thoughts and a new insite to life itself.

    Christopher left us all too soon. Just as he was preparing to embark on a journey that would change his life this tragic accident happened to him.     Growing up I spent most of my youth at my Uncle Donnie & Aunt Laurie's. Spent so much time there that I never looked at Chris as my cousin but my more of a little brother. Chris was an awesome dude, He had a one of a king attitude to say the least, I knew Chris was going to be ok when he said somthing that most of us still talk about today. " BURNT TOAST *@#$!% BOY". Chris you were like a brother man, I love you and will truly miss you.
