Obituary
Christopher J. Novack, 55, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Uxbridge, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and son on Saturday, September 4, 2021, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra J. (Morrill) Novack of Fort Myers, FL; his son Bradley C. Novack of Fort Myers, FL; his sister Kimberly A. Ober and her husband John of Bluffton, SC; his mother-in-law Amy Morrill of Milford, MA; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, along with many good friends and coworkers.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on November 12, 1965, he was the son of the late Eileen (Crossland) Novack and the late Rodney Novack of Hopedale, MA. Chris attended Hopedale Public Schools and proudly served in the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division as a Field Artillery Surveyor. He continued his profession as a chief land surveyor for over 30 years, most recently at Morris-Depew Associates in Fort Myers, FL, a job he truly loved.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially since moving to Florida four years ago. He formerly served as President of the Nipmuc Rod and Gun Club in Upton, MA, and was a member for many years. He was also a huge sports fan, especially football, he never missed a game. Chris lived for his family and would do anything for them. Always willing to help a friend, always the life of the party. His mottos were No Regrets, Never Quit and Live for the Moment, and he did all of them. Chris was one in a million and will be missed beyond words.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
I was so shocked & saddened to read your post about Chris. I loved reading your posts & seeing your pictures of all the places you went & had been. Your love for each other was so evident in your faces as well as your posts. May all your memories bring you some kind of comfort during this very difficult time.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV)
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
I do not have words to express to you, Bradley and Kim for such a terrible shocking loss. As you know I have known Chris since I was maybe 7-8 years old. He was someone I never forgot. Our fathers were good friends as well. We grew up together. When you married it was wonderful for me because you too were a childhood friend. Still married 30 yrs later I could not be more proud of you both. He will never be forgotten by me and nor will you. My love and prayers to ALL of you.
