Obituary
CLAIRE B. KEAR
December 17, 1925 to September 5, 2020
Claire Kear passed away peacefully on September 5, 2020 in Orlando FL. Her husband Bob Kear died in 2010 and loved the Fairways for the golf. Claire’s love for her family, neighbors and Cape Cod were real and strong. Born in 1925, she lived in New York State and had a full life at age 94.5 years. As a Cornell University graduate, she had a career in education and taught Home Economics and children with Special Needs and second graders. She took her family camping through Europe for a year and across the United States to the west coast. She had several businesses and liked the smell of the lumber in a new home and ice cream. Claire sang as a soprano in many churches and playing piano/organ in each. She truly enjoyed her friends in the Fairways for 40 years, retiring early for all her hard work and joining the Bridge Club. Playing Bridge on her cell phone at night made her happy. Her surviving family are: Robert Kear, Nancy Barton and Kevin Kear with 7 grandchildren along with 7 great grandchildren. She loved them all.
