Obituary

Clarence “Chuck” Jones Allen, II was born  May 10, 1922 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and best friend of 45 years Linda C Allen,  son Charles J Allen and wife MaryBeth Allen, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He served our nation in the US Army during World War II and recently received France's Legion of Honor Medal and was a Purple Heart recipient. He came to Florida in 1968 as Vice President of Manufacturing for Dayron Corporation in Orlando. In 1976 purchased Acme Stamp and Sign Co. and was President until retiring 20 years later. He was past president of American Institute of Industrial Engineers in Milwaukee, past president of the Central Florida Manufacturers Assoc. in Orlando. He was Past Commander of the Seminole Power Squadron and held memberships in BPOElks Lodge 1557, Edgewater and the Society of the Cincinnati. I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep, That in His mercy I be judged ... Big enough to keep.   Memorial donations are requested in his memory to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32119.

Linda, I am so sorry to learn that Chuck passed away. We used to share so much at Carver Plastics but have lost touch. Would love to hear from you. Please accept my deepest condolences. Mary
