United States Military Veteran Life Celebration for C James Wilson, New Smyrna Beach FL who died Tuesday, April 25, 2012 will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 27 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. Jim was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He served as a Captain in the US Army in WW II and Korea where he earned the Silver Star. He worked as a project manager and estimator for D W Browning Contracting Company where he was a partner and Corporate Secretary. Jim was very active in Masonic organizations including Past Master of Halifax Lodge 81 F&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies of Orlando where he earned the 33rd Degree, New Smyrna Beach Scottish Rite Club, Bahia Shrine Orlando. He was also active in American Legion Post 17 New Smyrna Beach, Charter member of American Legion Post 285 Edgewater and a Life Member of Sandspur Riding Club. Jim enjoyed playing golf regularly and was a member for many years at New Smyrna Beach Municipal Golf Course. He leaves to cherish his memory a son Neil and Daughter In law Diane Keyser of New Smyrna Beach.
