I remember my Uncle graduating High School. It was a very small class. I was six. We went camping a lot and I remember Uncle Clark going with us. He also went with us to a Worlds Fair. I remember him and my father hauling the big wooden toboggan up the hill in front of the Berne house so me and my cousins could hurl down the hill. It was always thrilling! He was a happy, fun loving man who's smile will be missed.

My Dad and Mom were my biggest cheerleaders in sports growing up. A memory that comes to my mind was freshman year in college at Manhattanville and was running up and down the soccer fields telling me where to put the ⚽️ ball so we would score. Then we would drive back up to our home in Coxsackie. He loved watching me play
And we shared the tremendous love for sports.
Though after my accident I could never play again and we became estranged. There was always love their. We both suffered a lot as a children. We always battled many health problems that plagued us. Well Dad, you are free of pain and disease. Your spirit lives on free like a bird. My mother in law says " Collect memories not things" Dad, I have lots of memories that I will cherish firever. We'll meet again someday. I'll be looking for you to pass me the soccer ball ⚽️
