Colleen Ruth Anderson
December 29, 1948 – October 11, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Ruth Anderson on October 11, 2024, in Winter Park, FL. After a courageous 10-month battle with sarcoma cancer, she passed away peacefully, with her daughter, Michelle Lea Anderson, by her side.
Colleen was born in Green Bay, WI (DeGreef/Prodell), lived 42 years in Ocala, FL, and enjoyed retirement in Franklin, NC. Colleen dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate RN, with her most fulfilling position at Hospice offering comfort and support to those in their final moments. A devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be deeply missed by her daughter, son-in-law, brother, niece, nephews and their families, and friends.
Though we grieve her loss, we take solace in the hope that she is now reunited with her late husband, George Michael Anderson, in peace and love.
In accordance with her wishes, a private gathering with immediate family will be held to honor her life.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
