Craig Steven Mclean, 62, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 with his family by his side. Craig was born December 15, 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut to Enid and Earl McLean.  He attended Rocky Hill High School where he met his beloved wife of 44 years, Cindy Cole McLean.  In 1973 Craig moved to Florida with his wife in 1973 and remained a resident until the time of his death.

Craig is survived by wife Cindy, his two daughters, Christina Mclean and her significant other Bobby Ruiz of Naples, Florida, Jennifer McLean and her fiancé Randall Armstrong of Cape Coral, Fl; one grandson, Jackson Thomas Armstrong.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Enid McLean, and his brother Gary McLean.

In addition, he leaves longtime family friends, the Cooke family, sister-in-law Tori Cole DeBarge and her husband Ron DeBarge; nieces Jackie and Julie DeBarge and nephew Andrew DeBarge and wife, Vanessa.

Craig loved his family, his friends, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family; especially his only grandson. He will be dearly missed.

    Craig and i were child hood best friends the memories i have we would explore the woods and ponds near our homes ,bike ,sled ,i can remember building push karts and putting baseball cards in the spokes of our bikes ,fishing ,camping out ,building and launching rockets we were the huck finn and tom sawyer of our block .When Craig moved to Fla we did not stay in touch very much I dont know why but when ever his travels brought him to Ct he would stop by as he did this past summer it was wonderful to talk with him about our growing up in this farm town the summer trips we took with our moms ,cape cod mt washington I was very lucky to have had such a great friend and i will never forget him he would walk through the door it may have been ten years and would recognize him in a second .I think I will look through some old family photos and see if i can find a picture of Craig and I together and place it on my mantle Happy trails my friend till our paths cross again

    you were and will always be a good friend, harmless soul and a good man. thank you for your help at the pizzeria and all my ventures over the last 18 years, you will be missed, you were a huge help, more than you know, flea market will miss you

    Creig was like a cousin to me. He was an awesome person who was very positive and fun. We will miss him his memories will be close to our hearts forever. We will keep the girls and grandson in prayer at this time. Love to you all, keith and Alison (cooke) Rogers
