Obituary
Curtis R. Koon 78, Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on September 30, 2025. Born in Johnstown, Pa., to Harold and Fern Koon. He was pre-deceased by his brother Bruce R Koon. Survived by his sister-in-law Pat Koon South Daytona, FL, nieces Wendy Johnson Clayton NC and Lori Reavis South Daytona FL. and several relatives in Pennsylvania. Curtis grew up in Daytona Beach graduating from Mainland HS (class of 65), where he was active in the Band. He also graduated from University of Florida with a construction management degree. He worked until his retirement in the Orlando area for commercial builders. He built his own house based on a Frank Llloyd design. He enjoyed dancing, being a member of the MG car club and cruising. He was a long-time member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
