Obituary
Cynthia Joyce Anderson, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, in Ft. Myers, FL. She was 73 years old. Cynthia was born on February 28, 1949, in Baldwin, NY, to the late Charles Alvin Anderson and Carolyn Pomeroy (Cole) Anderson. Cindy is survived by her loving spouse and best friend of 44 years, Robin C. Hancock, as well as her 3 beloved dogs. Cindy’s family who will cherish her memory, include: Charlie and Janet Anderson (son, Charlie & daughter, Beth), Chris and Anne Anderson and the late Tim Anderson (son, Lee).
Cindy taught math and English for 29 years in the Lee County School System in Florida. She was highly regarded and deeply loved by her colleagues and students throughout her teaching career. She retired in 2002 and greatly enjoyed meeting for lunch on a regular basis with some of her fellow teachers and friends.
Above all, Cindy loved the Lord and said God was her first love.

I will always remember how sweet Cindy was and will cherish my memories of the time I spent with her and all of the laughs we shared. Praying God’s supernatural peace will continue to comfort you as you go through this tough time.
