Diane touched many lives including ours and had many gifts. Her gift to my family was watching over our children when they were very young and showing them the right way to act and live while my wife and I worked. She gave them the nicknames we still use with them today, “Bubba” & “Sissy”. We love calling them that. She taught them patience, kindness, and responsibility. They are almost all grown up now and have done so well thanks to the teachings “Miss Diane” gave them. We always tell people we feel like the luckiest parents in the world to have the kids we have, but when we really think about it, it wasn’t luck, it was Miss Diane being in our lives. She will forever be in the hearts of our family.

Our deepest sympathy to her entire family and gratitude for sharing her with us.

Diane was an amazing woman. I gave Ken a dog years ago and I don't know who's dog it became to be. That dog ended up taken to Diane.

I first met Diane through her caring for my children at the Nursery at Oakland Presbyterian Church. I came to cherish her sweet, gentle spirit over the many years we were close. She is one of the angels who showed me the beauty of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Everyone who met Diane was touched by her graciousness. She lights the way for us all. To her children and husband I send my condolences. Diane will be missed.
