Obituary

Dale Rogers, passed away peacefully with family at his side on October 31, 2022, at the age of 74.

Dale was born in Springfield, MO on December 1, 1947 to Roy and Esther Rogers.

Dale grew up following in the footsteps of his dad owning and operating his own auto mechanic shop for 37 years. He had a love for building and racing cars in his younger years and later in life enjoyed going on cruises all over the world. He was an extremely good craftsman, always building or working on something. He had the ability to make light of any situation; always cheerful, always patient and kind. If he wasn’t singing songs he made up off the top of his head, he was cracking jokes and being such a joy to all those around him. He was a huge fan of anything sci-fi and a big movie buff. He loved big and had a servant’s heart. He greatly enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports and was such a proud Papa. He retired to Cocoa Beach, FL in 2017 where he continued to travel with his wife and make lasting memories.

Preceded in death by parents Roy and Esther Rogers and brother, Don Rogers.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Iris Rogers; Daughter, Elizabeth and husband Garett Howerton and daughter, Esther Rogers; Grandsons, Liam and Gage Howerton; Step-children, AJ Mann Bennett, Jennifer Bennett and husband Buck Bennett; Step-grandchildren Evan and Haylee Huntley, and Maxx Bennett.

The family will hold a Celebration of life in Florida and Oklahoma on dates to be determined.

Loved the twinkle in Dales eye whenever he mentioned Iris, food or ice cream! Dale always had a smile, a song and a dancing eyebrow. The world needs more men like him. My heart goes out to his friends and family, he will be missed.
