Dale Paul Grant, 81, of Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born August 13, 1936 in Ames, IA to Richard and Mildred Grant.

Dale spent many years residing in the Chicagoland area where he worked as a service manager for Ford, and later as a realtor. He raised and cared for his family there until 1998, when he relocated to Fort Myers, Florida. Dale was a charismatic, convivial man who was loved by all.

He is survived by his first wife Charlotte Grant. Also by sons Brian and Greg Grant, Terry Benco, and Daughters Lynne VanNess and Vanessa Grant, Step-children Brian and Candice Benco. Grandchildren Jason Primm, Robert and Allison Grant, Robert and Sarah VanNess, Timothy and Jacob Grant, Mackenzie and David Barker, and five great-grandchildren.  Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care
