Dale and I were great friends and we met in church. Dale and I laughed a lot and he was my dear friend.
We went our separate ways when we graduated. He went to the Navy and I the Army.
The last time I heard from Dale was when he called me in the early 1970s. He called me from Hawaii and we talked and chatted and laughed. Distance divided us as he eventually went to the south and me to the west. If we’d had cellphones back then I am sure we would have stayed in contact.
I’ve thought of you often over the years. May God bless you Dale and may God bless your family. Thank you for being so instrumental in my young life and thank you for your service.
    Al Paxton
