Obituary
Dale Werner Seck passed away on February 13, 2023.
Dale was born on March 16, 1939 to Werner and Marguerite Seck in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Canton, Ohio. Dale graduated from the School of Dentistry at Ohio State University in 1964.
Dale joined the U.S. Navy after graduation and served 29 years on active duty in various locations including Vietnam, Greece and Okinawa. Dale attained the rank of Captain in 1980. He enjoyed traveling and living in different areas of the world. In 1993 he retired to Winter Park, Florida.
Dale is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn, sons, Stephen and Scott, (Jennifer), grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan and Emily, brother, Paul, (Diane), nephew, Blake, (Beatrice) and grandnieces, Cameron and Gabrielle.
Hunting and fishing were among the sports he enjoyed. Dale enjoyed several years of fishing at South Padre Island and listening to music at many places there with friends. Being with friends and family and the grandchildren were important to him and he was always eager to see them. Watching the grandchildren play baseball was a good time for him.
Palm Cemetery in Winter Park will be the final resting place for Dale and will take place on March 3rd at 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at the home for friends and family.
