Obituary
Dan Anthony Colachicco, age 64, of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully Monday, January 10th, 2022 in Orlando, Florida after a long and valiant battle with colorectal cancer. Dan was surrounded by his wife of 40 years, Nancy and their sons, Anthony and William.
Dan was born in Wheaton, Maryland but lived the majority of his life in Boca Raton, Lake Mary, and most recently Naples, Florida.
Dan had a wonderful 40 year career as a Broker in the Commercial Real Estate industry. He was an excellent mentor, trainer and educator to many in the Industry. Those who worked with him, loved and respected his knowledge and drive for success. Dan was a man who knew what he wanted and nothing would get in his way. He was kind, funny, passionate and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Dan was a devoted Yankees fan since childhood and a long time Jimmy Buffett “Parrothead”, attending over 92 shows nationwide throughout his life. Dan was extremely passionate about his Italian culture and took a trip to Italy whenever possible. He was able to experience Italy a handful of times and loved visiting the vineyards in Tuscany and sipping espresso in coffee shops in the morning. He got to share his love for Italy with his wife and sons with a trip back in 2018 and most recently spent several weeks exploring the Italian countryside and the Amalfi Coast with his wife for their 40th Wedding Anniversary, shortly before his passing.
Dan was pre-deceased by his sister, Constance Garcia and parents, William P. Colachicco and A. Marie Colachicco. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Walters Colachicco and sons William Edward Colachicco and
Anthony David Colachicco.
