Obituary
Daniel (Dan) William Brady, 83, of Bonita Springs, FL passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice of Lehigh Acres, FL on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Dan was born on May 28, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late William and Vivian Brady. Dan served in the Army reserves from 1957-1961 and graduated from Saint Louis University. He went on to have a very successful career in accounting and finance, eventually becoming a partner at Lineberger & Co. Investment partnership.
Upon retiring, Dan moved to Bonita Springs, FL in 2003 with his wife, Jacqueline, and enjoyed an active
life playing tennis and golf regularly. He was a self-taught photographer, whose interest in photography
began as a hobby and grew into a lifelong passion; Dan’s favorite subject was his family. In addition to
being a dedicated and loving husband, father, and “Papa,” he loved going dancing with his wife and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Dolores Mertz Brady.
Dan is survived by his second wife Jacqueline and his siblings, Tom, and Jeanne.
He is also survived by his two children: His son David Brady (Jami) and daughter Debra Brady, along with
his grandchildren: Tyler, Camden, Isabella, and Leonardo.
Services in honor of his life will be held Friday, January 20th, 2023, at St. John XXIII Catholic Church
located at 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912. Visitation will begin at 10 am and Services will
begin at 10:30 am. A luncheon will be held in the Parish Life Center at St. John’s after the services for
family and friends to continue the celebration of Dan’s life.
