Obituary

On July 23rd, 2022, Daniel Madden passed away at the age of 55. Daniel was born on November 14th, 1966 in Lakewood, NJ to Donald ‘Doc’ and Gertrude ‘Trudy’ Madden. He received his high school diploma from Jackson Memorial high school, where he was an ardent wrestler, in 1984. After graduating high school, Daniel went to work with his father at CESCO elevator, where he spent the next 34 years before retiring in 20211. 

Daniel had a passion for riding dirt bikes with his sons Thomas and Austin, playing video games with his niece Sarah, spending time discussing science and outer space his brother-in-law Al, fishing and sharing funny videos with his sister Patty, or venting about life over lunch dates with his sister Maggie. Daniel also loved collecting technology gadgets, riding roller coasters and spending an exorbitant amount of time in Facebook jail. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Donald, and is survived by his mother Gertrude, two sisters, Patty and Maggie, two sons Thomas and Austin, daughter Jessica, grandson Jeremy, niece Sarah, his Great Nephew Killian, Aunt Frances, Aunt Ida and several cousins.

    You know the people that you dont get to see very often but every time you do whether it's been 10 months or 10 years, it's like you saw them yesterday and you just thoroughly enjoy eachothers company? That was what it was like with my Uncle Danny, and I imagine when we meet again, that it'll be just like that, like he never left.

    Danny, I’m so glad we were able to spend time together back in May. It must have been over 40 years since we last seen each other. You shared how proud you were of your children. It will always be a fond memory for me. You will be missed.
