Daniel Thomas Deen, 58, of New Smyrna Beach passed away on January 29, 2012. He was born on August 7, 1953 in West Palm Beach. He was an avid gardener and loved tending to his citrus trees and many plants. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking and being outdoors. He was passionate about sports, especially NASCAR, Gator Football and the Daytona Cubs baseball team. Dan worked as a Plans Examiner and Building Inspector for the City of Deland and the City of South Daytona. He is survived by his two daughters Michele Wyatt (Jimmy) and Rebecca Deen (Roni) and their children Patricia, Marisa, Trevor and Fisher; his mother Dolores; sisters Nancy and Candy and his long time girlfriend Lynn. He was preceded in death by his father Albert and his brother Tim.
A Life Celebration in his honor will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 4:00 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach.
