Obituary

David W. Shaffer of Summerfield, FL passed away at age 79 on November 30th 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 yrs., Carole A. Shaffer and 2 daughters Cheri L. Shaffer of Summerfield, FL and Deana L. Arancio of Spring, TX and six Grandchildren; Joseph, Victoria, Makenna, Grace, Ethan & Briana.
He was predeceased by his Mother Olive Mary, Father Clarence Victor & Sister Debra Jean. David was born in Washington, PA and a graduate of Washington high school. He joined the Air Force in 1960, he then worked at Jessop Steel Company for 32 years. He was a loving husband & Father and will be greatly missed.     We were friends for26 of his 32 years at Jessop! Were golf buddies and kept in contact after we retired. Were good friends, and I will miss our phone conversations while he was in Texas and Florida!
