Obituary
Dan Webb, age 66, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Leesburg, Florida. He spent his last few days surrounded by the care of his wife, his good friend George Freeman, and his sisters. Dan was born in Bloomington, Indiana and spent all of his formative years in Indiana. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1972 and was an avid student athlete, a member of the National Honor Society, and active in Edgewood Singers. He spent his professional career in banking and corporate credit management.
In addition to his love for family, Dan loved to fish for walleyes, crappie and bluegill (especially with best friend, George Freeman), participated on the golf team in high school and continued to enjoy playing golf. He loved cookouts with friends and family. He could tell good stories sitting around a camp fire with friends. He always appreciated good music and talent and was a friend for life.
Dan is survived by his wife, Carol, sons Tyler and Michael, step-daughter Robyn Appino and husband Tony, and grandchildren, Avery, Peter, and Maisey Appino, and Katie Webb. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Webb and sisters, Jane Price and husband Carl, Libby Webb and husband Gary Ander, and Anna Marie Butcher and husband Mark. Dan was predeceased by his father, Robert.
A private family service will take place in the Fall, when all family members can gather to remember Dan. In lieu of any specific contributions, family invite those who would like to honor Dan to extend an act of kindness to someone you care about.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was too young to leave this earth. My prayers and sympathy to his family.
Love, support, and friendship
Anita Armstrong
