Darline, a loving, warmhearted, always positive colleague/friend, who loved to talk and share. What did she share? Her love for her family. Having Christmas presents sent to the school, so the “kids” wouldn’t find out what they were getting. Searching/Hunting online for that perfect mother-of-the-groom wedding dress. (Many friends contributed to the final decision.) Going shopping from one place to another early, early on weekend mornings; getting it all done before the afternoon. Keeping track of and supporting her grandchildren as they progressed through middle school and then the boys on to high school. Her family was her world and she meant the world to her friends and co-workers.
I’m grateful I had the chance to know her as both a colleague and a cherished friend. Darline will be in our hearts and memories forever.

To the family & friends of Darline Pishnery,
I am remembering Darline with great sadness. She was taken from us so suddenly and unexpectedly within a brief year from her retirement. She was a remarkable person; devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She readily took on the role of “caretaker” to all who needed her, always thinking of others before herself.
It is difficult to find words to help ease the pain or grief for you her family or for us her friends. I will miss her genuine smile, her wit, sense of humor, thoughtfulness and hearing her laughter. I will miss her down to earth authentic personality rarely found in a lifetime.
She was the “go-to” person for any supplies we may have needed. If she didn’t have them on hand she would find a place from where to order them. Then we would discuss the best way to write a requisition in order to get it approved. When we ate lunch together we would often find things to laugh about to help reduce the stress level in the office. I miss her with all my heart and will never forget what a good friend and person I found in Darline.
With much love, many tears, thoughts and prayers,

I worked with Darline at NSBMS; she was a tireless worker with a wonderful sense of humor. In her job, maintaining the financial records of clubs and organizations, not to mention managing textbook requests, she handled it all with a smile. Wherever you needed help, Darline was ready to assist faculty and staff. She loved her family and was quick to share photos and memories.
Dear Family, I am sorry for your loss. May she have eternal peace.

When I think of Darline I think of FAMILY. Her family was the most important part of her life, she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Her face would light up when she spoke of them. She will live on through them and she will guide them through this heartbreaking time. GOD bless.

Darline was always so helpful at school. She had a difficult job, but she really knew her stuff. Darline was always willing to stop what she was doing to answer questions, and I have no idea how she was able to get anything done, but she did! We’ll see you again sometime on the other side, Darline. ❤️

I will miss her terribly. What a beautiful person she was. She and I would joke around all of the time. She always called me by a different flower or bush name, mostly Petunia! I will miss her smile and laughter.
