So glad we got to visit with Dave and Marion at our reunion in 2014 at Gunlock, Utah. I have known Dave since our Army officer training in 1966 and although assigned to a very critical national defense mission in Germany, he was always able to remain calm under immense pressure. He was a level headed leader of soldiers who readily followed him. Although we may no longer see that twinkle in his eyes, I will always remember it. May God watch over him on his last march to mess. He has left Marion with a lifetime of memories to sustain her during this difficult time. We are all better for having known and served with him.
