Obituary
David August Clark, 62, of Ft. Myers, passed away September 5, 2018, after being challenged with lingering health issues. Born and raised in Fond du Lac, WI., David attended Goodrich High School where he was a member of the Fondy Cardinals football team. He earned his business degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, specializing in labor and employment relations. He went on to earn his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota. David met and married his loving wife Marlene in North Dakota, where they lived in Fargo and Bismarck. He and Marlene later moved to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, ultimately retiring in Florida, where they enjoyed the weather, gourmet cooking, traveling, numerous treasured pet kitties, and each other throughout the years. David was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mildred Clark, nephew Christopher Clark, and his godfather Robert Knipple. Surviving are his wife Marlene Clark, siblings Bernadine Schingen, Kathy Powers, Mary Jayne Sherksnis, Carol Schwartz, and Bernard (Gene) Clark Jr., godson Paul Schwartz and goddaughter Bekki Clark, as well as many special nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. David will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
