Obituary
David James William Gray, 73, of Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, passed away peacefully on October 5th in Mount Dora, Florida.
David graduated with honors from Queen’s University and went on to become a Senior Principal Food Scientist, who was dedicated to developing creative sauces, soups and delicious food. He also was a devoted and caring father. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage, playing his trombone, lawn bowling, golfing, and volunteering for various charitable organizations.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria, as well as both his daughters, Maila and Amanda.
A celebration of life service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora on Friday, October 8th, at 11:00 am. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made to one of the following organizations: First Presbyterian Church Mount Dora Music program, The Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation, or Give a Tree foundation arborday.org/giveatree.
