Obituary

David Eric Jackson, 64, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Gulf Coast Hospital.  Born on April 30, 1959 in Williamson WV, to the proud parents of Rexel Nee & Karleen (England) Jackson, David was a highway heavy equipment operator.  A 1977 graduate of Belfry High School, David played football and ran track from 1973 to 1976 for the Belfry Pirates.  David joined the US Navy and went on to graduate from their Hospital Corpsman School.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Rexel N. and Karleen (England) Jackson and a brother-in-law, Donald Jones.  He is survived by his step-mother, Nita Jackson of Forest Hills, KY; sisters: Rexaleen Jones of Thorsby, AL, Becky (Greg) Copley of Pearl, MS and Scarlette (Philip) Moore of Matewan, WV; his brother, Nee (Kim) Jackson of Forest Hills, KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 @ First Baptist Church of Forest Hills, 1940 Forest Hills Road, Forest Hills, KY.  Visitation will begin at 7:00pm with a service to follow at 8:00pm.  The Reverend Greg Copley will be officiating.
