Obituary
David L. Micklos, of Venice, passed on for his legacy “to be continued” on September 27, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born in Streator, Illinois on July 15, 1943, to the late Louis Andrew Micklos and Rosemary Kusnerik Micklos.
Dave is survived by his sisters, Diane Williamson and husband Willy of Illinois, Cindy Hinds and husband Jerry of Illinois, Shelly Carter and husband Dave of Illinois, several nieces and a nephew and many friends.
Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army, and he enjoyed serving in the Army Color Guard. He was a proud veteran. He resided most recently in Venice where he had lived for six years, making friends and acquaintances along the way.
Dave had a big personality, fiercely independent. May the angels sing him to his eternal home.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Baldwin Brother of Venice is honored to serve the Micklos family.
