David enjoyed computer games and taking care of his pool. He was also actively involved in the Veterans Club of America Post #1. He was a very loving husband and papa and was well loved by all.
David is survived by his loving wife, Kitty Stonecipher of Fort Myers FL; his daughter, Teresa Foss of Fort Myers FL; his son, Darrel and daughter-in-law Debbie Foss of Fort Myers FL; his brother, John and sister-in-law Sue Stonecipher; and by his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Fort Myers, Florida.
As kids we spent so many times at your parents house on Avondale. Bob and
Irene adored your folks and we, as children thought of you more as siblings than cousins. Our hearts break for all of you, especially Elaine, Sandy and Carol as we girls were closer to them than the boys. We will remember Dave with very fond memories and keep you all in our prayers.
Love,
Sharon and Bonnie
For more than 55 years, I considered Dave one of my closest friends.
We grew up together in Syracuse and I knew his mom and dad, his bothers and
sisters and many relatives. I once was the only non-family member invited
to the Stonecipher family reunion at Onondaga Lake.
Dave and I were regulars in the Westcott Street area of Syracuse.
I will truly miss Dave for his friendship, his humor and his generosity.
May Dave rest in peace.
