Obituary
Dawn Catherine Robinson, 62, of Cape Coral, passed away on February 16, 2024 at her home in Cape Coral surrounded by family and her beloved pets.
Dawn was born in Long Island, New York to Olga and Miguel Aguera on March 8, 1961. She went to school in West Islip and graduated early from West Islip High School in 1979. She married Alan Robinson on May 23, 1982, in Long Island, New York and later relocated to Cape Coral, Florida in 1987. She owned and operated R&R Accounting Inc with her husband for 32 years. She was also a partner of Associated Construction and Remodeling Inc. She was involved in Schutzhund dog training and proudly titled several of her german shepherds, as well as training many other dogs who went on to be titled. She was an avid horse enthusiast and owned horses for over 30 years. Dawn loved all animals and rescued many different species of pets over the years.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father Miguel Aguera, her husband Alan Robinson and several of their beloved pets.
Dawn is survived by her daughter Nicole C Robinson-Crawford, Kyle L Crawford, her granddaughter Aurora K Crawford, her brothers Michael Aguera and Raymond Aguera, her mother Olga C Aguera, her companion Andrew H Nerenberg and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. She is also survived by her three dogs Karma, Diva and Sophia as well as her horses Prince and Major, all whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time and date, to be announced.
Memorials or donations in her honor can be given to your local no-kill animal shelter or rescue of your choice. Dawn’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Cape Coral Hospital and the staff at Vitas Healthcare for their care and compassion, especially in her final days. Her family would also like to thank all of her friends for their help and caregiving.
