Dawn Rachel Smith, 62, passed away on November 19, 2024. She was the loving wife and best friend of Russell Alan Smith Sr. for over 42 years.

Dawn is survived by her daughter Patty and her husband John Pabon and her sons Richard and Russell Jr.

Dawn was a fun loving Nana to her five grandchildren Leonardo, Nataly, Lily, Arabella and Ryder. She introduced them to arts and crafts and filled them with many precious memories. She always told them stories and loved her special hugs. Nature was always on display and Nana made sure every one of them saw all the beauty, animals and birds within it.

Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Mae Bray. Dawn was the sister of Linda Gare and her husband Robert Gare, and the late Brenda Smith. She was a graduate of West Warwick High School and CCRI. She resided in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Dawn visiting hours will be held on December 5, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at the Baldwin Brothers East Colonial Funeral Home, 4320 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
