In recognition of Shannon's preferred treat, please bring a jar of peanut butter to donate to Halifax Urban Ministries. The Family suggests donations to the Halifax Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
My father was taken by Cancer a while ago. But one of the things that has helped me to cope is to focus on the Bible's promise that God will bring our loved ones back to life very soon (Acts 24:15).
During that time, the Earth will be a paradise, where we won't have to worry about illness any more. Isaiah 33:24 says that, "No resident will say, 'I am sick.'"
I hope your family can find some comfort during this difficult time.
