Deana Brogan Abendroth a loving daughter, mother, fiancé, sister, Aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday October 10th 2021 at the age of 62. Deana was survived by her children Christina Abendroth and Fredreko McCloud, Jennifer and John Stahl, by her sisters Denise Schneider and Doreen Brogan, her brother Todd Brogan, nieces, nephews, her fiancé Steve Morgan and their cat Stanley. She was born on September 29, 1959 in Carson City, Michigan to Richard (Dick) and Audrey Jolene Brogan. She went to Williamston High School and graduated in 1977 and eventually received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Deana and her family moved to Florida in the mid 80’s to be closer to other family, where they settled down in the Winter Park area.
She ran her housecleaning business for over 20 years and helped with her Fiancé’s business for many years after. While running a business, she dedicated her time to her daughters and their love of fast pitch softball for years. Basically being one of the team mom’s not only for her daughter’s but all of their teammates as well. She loved to be with family while playing cards on whoever’s back porch that was hosting that family function especially “Screw your neighbor”. She loved to be in her garden with her plants and milkweed and see all of the butterflies that would come and go. She loved to watch her “shows” especially her reality TV shows. She was an amazing mother to her daughters and all of their friends as well even when they were out of control. She had a passion for interior decorating and got many of her ideas from her love of HGTV shows.
Deana fought a long hard battle for many years and will be missed by many. Finally she is at peace and no longer in pain. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday October 30th 2021 at the Elks Lodge in Winter Park Florida. 4755 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, Florida 32792 from 2-4pm. Please come and celebrate with family and friends and share your favorite memories of Deana.
