Obituary

Debbie Kay Alfred, 63 of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on November 29, 2018 at Hope Hospice, Lehigh Acres. She was born on October 27, 1955 in Pontiac MI to the late Donavon and Lena (Mauro) Gillette. Debbie worked as the Culinary Supervisor at the Lehigh Regional Medical Center, where she retired after 25 years of service. She lead a quite and simple life enjoying time with her family, gardening, playing cards and drinking lots of coffee. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Albert W. Alfred; her daughter, Lena Marquez and her husband Yunior; her son, Daniel Almas and his wife Tiffany; her brother, Michael Gillette and his wife Jeanne; her sister, Donna Goss and her husband John; and her 4 grandchildren, Jonathan and Jacob Marquez, and Sophia and Emma Almas. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Albert Stinson, and her sister, Mary. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.

    Oh the great times we had Lena when you were a baby. Your Mom was my bf in Florida. I would of never made it down there without her. Knowing only her and you Dad at first. She had such strength then also. Live you all!

    My sincere condolences to al. I have good memories of bowlinher familyg together at Gold Crown Lanes, being soccer parents together. Dan and Tim's childhood friendship. How proud she was when Lena was selected for the International Baccalaureate program at Fort Myers High.she truly loved her entire family. I sm so sorry for your loss Al.
